These terms govern your use of Global MSP Community, including the website, research and editorial content, community participation, events, webinars and related services.
Global MSP Community exists to publish useful research and insight, help people understand the managed-services market and create practical ways for MSP leaders and others in the ecosystem to participate. These terms set the ground rules for doing that fairly.
An event, paid service, research study, competition, partner agreement or Global MSP Directory service may have specific terms or participant information. Where those terms expressly apply to that activity, they supplement these Terms of Use and take priority if there is a direct conflict.
Global MSP Community (“GMC”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is operated by Marketing Automation Ltd. By accessing or using GMC, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the affected service.
These services are primarily intended for business and professional use. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
GMC may provide:
We may add, change or discontinue features as GMC develops.
You must have legal capacity to agree to these terms. If you use GMC on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that organisation to the extent relevant to your use.
Some activities are curated. We may limit attendance, decline an application or place a person on a waiting list where this is reasonably necessary to maintain relevance, capacity, safety or the intended composition of a session.
GMC content is provided for general information, research and professional discussion. It is not legal, financial, investment, cybersecurity, tax or other regulated professional advice, and should not be relied on as a substitute for advice tailored to your circumstances.
Research findings may contain estimates, respondent views, sampling limitations, incomplete market data or assumptions. Where appropriate, we explain methodology, sources and limitations. We may correct or update content when new information becomes available.
References to a company, vendor, MSP, product, event or service do not by themselves amount to an endorsement.
If you participate in GMC discussions, roundtables, webinars, forms or events, you agree to act professionally and lawfully. You must not:
Some peer sessions may use the Chatham House Rule or another confidentiality convention. Where a rule is stated, participants are expected to respect it.
Participation in the Global MSP Research Panel or a GMC survey does not automatically mean you are participating in academic research. Where a particular study is governed by a university, ethics process or separate research agreement, you will receive the relevant participant information and consent materials.
Research responses may be aggregated, analysed and published in de-identified form. If we wish to attribute a quotation, identify you as a source or use your contribution in another way requiring permission, we will handle that in accordance with the relevant research notice or agreement.
You must not knowingly submit fabricated data or impersonate another participant.
Event details such as speakers, topics, timings, venue, format and capacity may change. We will take reasonable steps to communicate material changes to registered attendees.
We may refuse admission or ask a participant to leave if their behaviour is unsafe, unlawful, seriously disruptive or inconsistent with the stated community rules. Where a session is recorded or photographed, appropriate notice will be provided.
You are responsible for your own travel, accommodation, visas, insurance and other costs unless an event-specific agreement says otherwise.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, GMC is not responsible for travel or accommodation costs arising from a changed, postponed or cancelled event. Attendees should use flexible arrangements where appropriate.
GMC may work with sponsors, research partners and other commercial organisations. Commercial relationships do not automatically entitle a partner to:
Where content or research is sponsored, we aim to disclose that relationship clearly.
Global MSP Directory is a related specialist product and may have its own terms, privacy information, listing rules and commercial arrangements. A directory listing, verification marker or profile signal is not a guarantee of service quality, financial standing, security capability or suitability for a particular buyer.
You should carry out your own due diligence before appointing any provider discovered through GMC or Global MSP Directory.
You retain ownership of original content you submit, subject to any separate agreement. By submitting content for publication or display through GMC, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format and display that content for the purpose for which it was submitted and to promote that GMC content or activity.
You confirm that you have the right to submit the material and that our permitted use will not infringe another person’s rights.
For research interviews, attributed quotations, academic studies or commissioned content, the more specific consent form, contributor agreement or research notice will govern where applicable.
Unless stated otherwise, GMC’s website design, branding, original articles, research reports, graphics, databases, compilations and other materials are owned by or licensed to Marketing Automation Ltd and are protected by intellectual-property law.
You may link to GMC and quote reasonable extracts with clear attribution where permitted by law. You must not reproduce a substantial part of a report, dataset, database or paid material, remove attribution, or present GMC content as your own without permission.
You must not use GMC in a way that could damage the service, compromise security, impose an unreasonable technical load, infringe rights, break the law or interfere with another user’s experience.
Automated access, scraping or bulk extraction may be restricted where it is abusive, bypasses technical controls, infringes rights or undermines the integrity of a service. Search-engine and AI-search crawling that follows our published technical instructions is treated separately from abusive scraping.
GMC may link to third-party sites, products, vendors, research, payment services, ticketing platforms or event venues. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their availability, security, content or privacy practices. Their own terms and policies apply.
We aim to keep GMC accurate, useful and available, but we do not guarantee that the website or any particular content, event or feature will always be uninterrupted, error-free, complete or current.
Market information changes quickly. Company details, vendor programmes, pricing, legal requirements and technology capabilities can change after publication. You should verify information that is important to a business decision.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the previous paragraph, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Marketing Automation Ltd will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, opportunity or data arising from use of free GMC content or community services.
Where you purchase a paid event or service, any additional liability terms shown at the point of purchase or in the applicable agreement will also apply.
We may remove content, restrict participation, suspend access or refuse future attendance where we reasonably believe this is necessary to enforce these terms, protect participants, address legal or security risk, prevent abuse or preserve the intended purpose of a community activity.
Where appropriate and practical, we may first contact the person concerned, but we are not required to do so where immediate action is reasonably necessary.
We may update GMC and these terms as services develop or legal requirements change. The effective date shown at the top indicates the current version. Material changes may be highlighted on the site or communicated to affected registered users where appropriate.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you and cannot lawfully be excluded.
If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can try to resolve it informally.
Questions about these terms or legal notices can be sent to tim@automate.marketing.
